DESCRIPTION:Decolonizing the stage - towards an anti-racist and feminist 
 stage\n\nIn this course we will examine the stage\, representations and m
 echanisms of power in the context of the stage from the perspective of in
 tersectional feminism and decolonial discourse\n\nThe course will consist
  of lectures\, discussions and group work. We will start from the basics\
 , review terminology\, theoretical background\, and delve into issues of 
 power and representation. Towards the end of the course\, we will move to
  the stage\n\nThe aim of this workshop to provide students with both a th
 eoretical basis and concrete tools to explore the mechanisms of power\, o
 therness and representation\, and to work more sustainably and ethically 
 in an ever-changing and diversifying environment\n\nThe workshop will be 
 facilitated by choreographer and artistic director Sonya Lindfors.
